The Community Connections for Public Health outreach program i has two 75% time AmeriCorps positions available through the Iowa Community Corps program at Iowa HHS (link)
The specific project ‘Building Community Capacity for Physical Activity Programming with the Healthy Iowans Active Living Workgroup’ will provide professional development in program planning, social marketing, technology integration and program evaluation. The position is 50% time runs from 9/25/26 through 6/17/27.
AmeriCorps members will work directly with CCPH staff and with leaders from the Active Living workgroup of Healthy Iowans to build out county and state level programming.
